Daniel Maguire - Group Head, LSEG Markets and CEO, LCH Group

Daniel is Group Head of LSEG’s Markets Division and CEO of LCH Group. He has been a member of LSEG’s Executive Committee since 2017.

LSEG’s Markets Division combines the Group’s flagship trading and clearing businesses – the London Stock Exchange, Turquoise, LSEG FX, Tradeweb and LCH Group – with its risk management, capital optimisation, collateral management, and regulatory reporting capabilities, including Acadia and Quantile.

Daniel joined LCH in 1999 and has been CEO of LCH Group since 2017. During his career at LCH he has held a variety of senior roles including Global Head of SwapClear, ForexClear and LCH Group COO. Daniel worked at J.P. Morgan from 2005 to 2008 before returning to LCH on 1 September 2008 where he was immediately responsible for the successful trading and unwinding of Lehman Brothers’ LCH-cleared bond and repo portfolio. Daniel was based in New York from 2010-2014 setting up LCH’s business and operations in the US.

Over his career Daniel has made significant contributions to the development of CCP and derivatives regulatory frameworks across the globe and has played a leading role in the industry in LIBOR and new reference rate transition, and also the UK withdrawal from the EU and the impact on Financial Services.

Daniel sits on the Board of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA).

Isabelle Girolami - Chief Executive Officer, LCH Limited

Isabelle Girolami is CEO at LCH Ltd, where she is responsible for driving continued expansion across LCH’s services, with a focus on sustained growth, innovation and operational excellence.

Prior to joining LCH in November 2019, Isabelle was Deputy CEO of Crédit Agricole CIB in charge of Global Markets, having joined the bank in 2015 as Global Head of Financial Markets and serving on Crédit Agricole CIB’s Executive Committee. She previously spent seven years at Standard Chartered Bank, both in London and Singapore, starting in 2008 as Head of Global Markets Europe and Co-Head Wholesale Banking Europe, before being appointed Head of Global Markets ASEAN.

Her extensive banking career in Europe and Asia began in 1995 at BNP Paribas, where she became COO for Global Fixed Income. This was followed by her appointment in 2000 as Chief of Staff for Europe and COO for Fixed Income Europe and Asia at Bear Stearns.

Isabelle is a graduate in international law and finance from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciale in Paris.

 

Corentine Poilvet-Clédière - Chief Executive Officer, LCH SA

Corentine Poilvet-Clédière is Chief Executive Officer of LCH SA.

Prior to this, Corentine acted as Head of Repo clearing, Collateral and Liquidity management at LCH SA and as such headed the global pool of Euro denominated cleared repos, offering 13 government debts and supporting a network of more than lore than 100 banks across the globe. 

She has been with the London Stock Exchange Group since 2012 and has held various positions including Global Head of Regulatory Strategy for LSEG and supported the creation of the Credit Default Swaps clearing business for LCH. Prior to this, Corentine worked in investment banking in New York City.

Corentine holds three Masters degrees: Political Sciences in France (Science Po); Macro economy and monetary policy in the UK (Bristol University) and Finance in the US (Harvard Business School and Fordham University). 

 

John Horkan - LSEG Post Trade and LCH Group COO, and LCH Head of Americas

John is the COO of LCH Group and Head of Americas. As COO, he is responsible for ensuring the execution of the group’s integrated global strategy, working closely with LCH’s regulated CCPs and focusing on best-in-class risk management, operational resiliency and efficiency. As Head of Americas, he is responsible for business performance and external engagement. John has served on the CFTC Global Markets Advisory Committee since 2019.
 
Prior to joining LCH in 2012, John held various positions over 19 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and J.P. Morgan. John started his career as an Investment Grade Bond Salesperson, before serving as Global Markets Sales COO, defining client strategy and developing client information analytics. Lastly, he served as Managing Director, spearheading global regulatory reform efforts.
 
John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in political science and economics from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York.

Diane Bouwmeester - General Counsel, Post-Trade and Capital Markets

Diane is General Counsel, Post-Trade and Capital Markets. In this role, Diane is responsible for managing all legal and regulatory compliance matters affecting the Group and its subsidiaries.

Diane joined LCH from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, where she was a Senior Associate in the financial services regulatory practice. Prior to that role, she was a partner at a leading South African law firm. 

She holds a B.A and LLB from The University of The Witwatersrand in South Africa and an LLM with honours from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Deepak Mohata - CFO, LCH Group and Ltd

Deepak joined LSEG in 2019 as Head of Finance for Technology where his role covered Strategy and Decision Support, Mergers & Acquisitions and Business Partnering. Before that he spent 11 years at Barclays where his roles in Finance included deploying Profitability measurement and transformation, Financial Planning & Analysis and Business partnering across various divisions in Retail and Investment Bank.

Originally from Delhi (India) he moved to London in 2007. In India he held a variety of Audit, accounting, and commercial roles with mid-sized companies early in his career.

He is a qualified accountant (CGMA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Delhi University.

Patricia Cuddy - Group Head of People, Post Trade and Capital Markets

Patricia is the Group Head of People for Post Trade and Capital Markets.  In this role Patricia is responsible for leading the People Strategy and managing the all talent matters effecting the group and its subsidiaries.  She is a member of the Post Trade Executive Committee and a member of the People Leadership Team for the London Stock Exchange Group. Patricia brings more than 20 years of talent management and merger and acquisition expertise in financial services, technology, and data analytics.  

Prior to joining the London Stock Exchange Group, she worked at NYSE/ICE as Managing Director of Human Resources for Capital Markets and Trading Floor Operations.  Patricia has held board positions to include roles on compensation, retirement, and diversity committees.  Patricia holds a master’s degree in Human Resources Management from New York University and an undergraduate degree from Rutgers University.

 

Kate Birchall - Managing Director, Global Head of Sales

Kate Birchall is Managing Director, Global Head of Sales, at LCH Ltd and LCH SA, responsible for driving global sales efforts, as well as developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders. 

Before her appointment as Head of APAC at LCH Ltd in October 2018, Kate was Head of Portfolio Optimisation and Collateral at National Australia Bank. With two decades of financial markets experience, primarily in capital and collateral management, Kate has also held senior roles in structuring, portfolio management and credit research, in both Australia and London.

Kate holds an Executive MBA from the London Business School and a BA in Mathematics from the University of Queensland.

Antony Baldwin - Group Director, Global Head of Collateral and Liquidity Management LCH Group, LSEG Post Trade

Tony Baldwin is Group Director, Global Head of Collateral and Liquidity Management, LCH Group within LSEG Post Trade Division, where he is responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the company’s collateral and liquidity management.

Tony is a seasoned industry veteran with over 30 years’ experience in financial markets and strategic business change management. Before joining LCH in 2017, Tony spent 22 years at Daiwa Capital Markets Europe, where he was latterly Managing Director, Head of EMEA Fixed Income Division, with ExCo responsibilities for the firm’s EMEA FICC sales and trading operations. He also held an advisory position with HQLAx. 

Since 2008, Tony has served on multiple industry committees, including the Bank of England's Securities Lending and Repo Committee (SLRC), and LCH Ltd’s Senior Risk Committee. He currently serves on ICMA’s European Repo and Collateral Committee, Market Infrastructure Advisory Group, Secondary Markets Practices Group, and CSDR Working Group. He is also involved with the Bank of England’s Money Market Committee and UK Money Markets Code Sub-Committee.

Tony holds a MSc (Econs) with distinction in Accounting and Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science.

Susi de Verdelon – Head of SwapClear and Listed Rates

Susi de Verdelon is Head of SwapClear and Listed Rates at LCH, responsible for driving performance and growth, and ensuring the continued resilience of the SwapClear and Listed Rates business. Susi’s focus on innovation includes capital optimisation through LCH's compression services, delivering the next phases of LCH's portfolio margining services and exploring further opportunities in the cleared OTC interest rates market.

Prior to joining LCH in 2017, Susi was a Managing Director in the Securities Division at Goldman Sachs, where she led the European front office team in charge of cross-asset regulatory change for the trading floor. Susi holds an MA in economics and management from Oxford University.

Andrew Batchelor - Head of ForexClear

Andrew Batchelor is Head of ForexClear, responsible for LCH’s FX derivatives clearing service globally. With over 20 years’ experience in FX and prior to his appointment as Head of ForexClear, Andrew joined LCH in 2021 as ForexClear COO and Head of Product, to evolve the strategy, drive continued growth and innovation, and oversee the expansion of the deliverable FX and client clearing franchises.
 
Before joining LCH, Andrew spent 20 years at Barclays Investment Bank, most recently as Managing Director, Global Rates Trading & Sales COO, following on from prior roles as Global FX COO and Global EM Trading COO.
Andrew has had a deep and long-standing relationship with LCH, sitting on the bank advisory boards of both SwapClear and ForexClear since 2011, where he was both part of the bank consortium that founded ForexClear, as well as acting as Chairman in his last few years.  
 
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Hons) degree from the University of Cape Town and is a Chartered Accountant.

Marcus Robinson – Head of LCH CDSClear and Head of LCH DigitalAssetClear, LCH SA

Marcus Robinson is Head of LCH CDSClear and Head of LCH DigitalAssetClear at LCH SA, LSEG Post Trade, responsible for leading LCH CDSClear’s next phase of international expansion, particularly across the US, and bringing LCH DigitalAssetClear to market and its subsequent development.

Marcus has spent over 15 years at LSEG Post Trade, and was previously Head of Strategy, overseeing the Group’s strategy across LSEG Post Trade’s clearing, reporting and Post Trade solutions services. Prior to this, he was Head of Asia Pacific at LCH. Marcus has led a number of regulatory and strategic initiatives, including implementing changes to the core risk management principles of the CCP. He also played a key role in the design and implementation of LCH’s NDF service, ForexClear. 

Prior to joining LSEG, Marcus worked for JPMorgan in its investment banking and asset management divisions.

Rohit Verma - Head of Asia Pacific, LCH

Rohit Verma is Head of Asia Pacific at LCH, responsible for managing operations and sales to drive LCH’s continued expansion in the region.

Rohit has over 20 years’ experience in the derivatives, prime brokerage and risk management space. Before joining LCH in 2021, he spent nine years in senior strategic roles at Citi, including Head of Clearing and FX Prime Brokerage in APAC. During his tenure, Rohit also represented Citi at various Asian exchange risk committees and workgroups. Prior to this, he was Deutsche Bank’s APAC Head of Risk Management, overseeing market and counterparty risk management for their asset management business.

Rohit holds an MBA in Finance from the National University of Singapore and is FRM certified.
